Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to the details you give us on ohmyguests.com. We keep it short and in plain English.

Who we are

OhMyGuests is a product of Crafted Logic, the business that decides what happens to your data (the "data controller"):

Crafted Logic is based in the Netherlands, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to everyone who uses this site, wherever they live.

What we collect

When you join the early-access list, we store:

• what you fill in on the form: your email address, whether you are getting married or a wedding planner, your wedding month and number of guests (couples), your studio name and weddings a year (planners), and your answer to the price question;
• the campaign codes in the link you arrived through, if any (for example utm_source, utm_campaign or an ad click ID such as gclid), and which page you signed up on;
• your browser's user-agent string (the browser and device type it reports), shortened;
• when you signed up, and which version of the sign-up wording you saw.

If you use the app: your email address and name, whether you are a couple or a planner, your sign-ins (when they started and were last used; no IP address and no browser details), the weddings you set up, the guest names and numbers you upload, and the confirmation you give with each list (when, from which account, and a fingerprint of the file). We do not keep the uploaded file. Email addresses and home addresses in your file are never saved.

We do not store your IP address. To stop spam, the server keeps the IP address of each sign-up attempt in memory for at most one hour, then forgets it.

Why we use it

• To invite you to early access, by email, when OhMyGuests opens.
• To plan the launch: how many couples and planners are interested, which ads and pages bring them, and what they think of our prices.

We email you only about OhMyGuests. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Legal basis

Your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give it by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us; we then delete your sign-up. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.

How long we keep it

Until 12 months after OhMyGuests opens (planned for December 2026), or sooner if you ask us to delete it.

Everything about a wedding is deleted 90 days after the wedding day. We keep the confirmations you gave with your lists for 4 years, because US claims about texts can come that late. Your account stays until you ask us to delete it at hello@craftedlogic.biz.

If a guest stops our texts and later replies START, but had asked us to stop calls, the stop on calls ends 4 years after that START.

Where it is kept, and who else handles it

The website and its database run on a server operated by Crafted Logic in the Netherlands.

Two service providers (processors) handle data for us, under contract:

• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States): runs our domain's DNS, protects the site against attacks, and provides the encrypted Cloudflare Tunnel connection between visitors and our server. Every request to this site passes through Cloudflare, so it sees your IP address and what you send, including the form.
• Lettermint (the Netherlands): sends our sign-in emails. It keeps them on servers in the EU.

Cloudflare is based in the United States. Transfers of personal data to Cloudflare are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We never sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. If that ever needs to change, for example to report sign-ups to an ad platform, we will update this policy first.

Cookies and tracking

The public pages of this site set no cookies. When you sign in to the OhMyGuests app, we set one cookie, omg_session. It keeps you signed in, holds only a random code, is sent only to the app's pages, and ends 30 days after your last visit or when you sign out. The app cannot work without it, so we do not ask for consent. We use no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, and nothing on this site loads from other companies.

Guests' phone numbers, once OhMyGuests opens

The product we are building will text, and on request call, wedding guests on behalf of the couple or planner who uploads them. That part is not live yet. When it is, we will publish how guest data is handled before any guest is contacted. One promise holds already. Mobile numbers and opt-in data are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing. See also our SMS terms.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• show you the data we hold about you (access);
• correct it;
• delete it;
• stop using it, by withdrawing your consent.

Email hello@craftedlogic.biz from the address you signed up with. We answer within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or to the authority where you live.

Children

This site is for adults planning weddings. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use the data you already gave us, we will email you first.
