Yes, a few, and most are not built for weddings. Specialty Answering Service will call invitees who have not replied, from $44 a month. Database Systems Corp. runs automated keypad calls from $25. MyRSVPLive takes RSVPs by phone but calls guests only for emergencies. Most couples still make the last calls themselves (SAS, DSC, MyRSVPLive).

Do Zola, The Knot or Joy call guests?
No. Their reminders go out by email or text, and the help pages we read offer no phone calls (Zola, The Knot, Joy). The Knot's own advice is that you and your partner call your own friends and family (The Knot).
Is a phone call worth it after texts and emails?
For the last few households, often yes. Text My Wedding's follow-up plan ends with a phone call about twelve days past the deadline, after a text and an email (Text My Wedding). Paperlust and ChungDoi both say to call older relatives instead of texting them (Paperlust, ChungDoi).
Reminders of any kind bring answers. On QuikRSVP, about 4 in 10 replies arrive after a follow-up, on events that send one (QuikRSVP).
What rules apply to automated or AI calls to guests?
In the US, an AI voice counts as an "artificial or prerecorded voice" under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The FCC confirmed this in February 2024, so such calls need the called person's prior express consent unless an emergency purpose or an exemption applies (FCC, FCC ruling).
That is why a service should not place AI calls to guests' cell phones unprompted. OhMyGuests calls a cell phone only after the guest replies CALL, taps "call me" or calls its number (OhMyGuests). This is general information, not legal advice.

Will an AI call say it is an AI?
It should, and OhMyGuests' calls will. Each call opens with "this is OhMyGuests, calling for" the couple about the RSVP, followed by "I'm Ava, an AI assistant, and this call is recorded" (OhMyGuests).
Who else can make the calls?
Anyone you trust with the guest list. Paperlust suggests one person per side of the family, not the couple (Paperlust). If you hired a planner, ask whether RSVP follow-up is in the contract before the deadline arrives.
What should I say when I call a guest who hasn't replied?
Start with small talk, then ask whether they can make it. The Knot suggests asking how they are doing before you bring up the RSVP (The Knot). Text My Wedding adds a fallback: if nobody answers, leave a voicemail and send one text saying you called (Text My Wedding).
